Alan Turing Way, Beswick, Manchester, the junction with Ashton-New-Road In the background you can see Manchester City's New Stadium. Just after the white building on the left is Greymare Lane. It stops there now, instead of carrying across as it used to do. Alan Turing Way. This is coming from the opposite direction, Briscoe Lane is just behind where the photo was taken. This is Philips Park on the left and this was the old Mill Street Chapman Street junction with Ashton-Old-Road, Openshaw. On the corner is the derelict site of the Locomotive Pub. This was demolished this year (2003)
