All equipment used by the WRG Forestry Team is owned by the individual members. All the costs of maintaining and replacing the equipment are covered by the individual owners.
We receive no funding, grants or donations towards the maintenance of the forestry equipment. The specialist equipment we own takes a lot of maintenance to ensure safety and it is not cheap. All the WRG Forestry Team qualified chainsaw users are trained in the maintenance of the equipment and take their responsibilities very seriously indeed.
Between us, the team possesses a variety of chainsaws, rigging and tree climbing equipment including Tirfor winch etc.
