WRG "Bonfire Bash" - Basingstoke Canal the team were involved in removal of dead and overhanging limbs and removal of dead trees along a stretch of canal with residential houseboats and a busy towpath with walkers and fishermen/women. The work involved working very close to water, and had to be carried out with minimal inconvenience to walkers and residents. This included the use of a tractor mounted chipper initially provided by one of the local volunteers complete with a paid member of his workforce as operator.
