FLYDRESSERS GUILD NORTHAMPTON BRANCH
INTERESTED IN TYING YOUR OWN FLIES?
The Northampton Branch of the Flydressers Guild meets year round, offering a programme of guest speakers, informal evenings, video nights,
fishing days, and perhaps most importantly a friendly atmosphere where tips and information are willingly shared. We do not hold fishing competitions so there are no
secret flies!
2009 Meetings
Meetings are held regularly at the Cardigan Arms, Stocks Hill, Moulton, Northampton, NN3 7TB on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 for an 8pm start.
Summer Meetings From May through to September we meet every other week (May 5th, 19th, June 2nd, etc.), usually with an informal programme
where members can meet up for a chat about where is fishing, and what flies are catching. We also organise a few fishing trips through the summer, these are social events, not competitions.
Winter Meetings From October through to April meetings are weekly and include regular guest speakers etc. As
an example over the last winter period (2008-09) we played host to Charles Jardine, Dave Eggington and Russ Dyer.
Interested?
New members are welcome. Why not come along for a meeting or two to see what we are about, then if you like us, you can join!
Membership
2009 Branch Membership remains at just £10 per year (with no additional weekly meeting fees) which for nearly
40 meetings per year is a real bargain!
