Suffolk Monochrome Group News – March 2012

Our fourth exhibition to be held at Wingfield Barns will take place between 3rd April and 29th April 2012. We look forward to you visiting our exhibition, which is open 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sundays.

A successful exhibition was held at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester between 24th October and 13th November 2011. Many visitors attended the exhibition over this period, with lots of kind remarks recorded in visitor’s book.

The group showed their work at the Art Exhibition to be held at the Woodbridge School on 12th and 13th November 2011, under an exhibition title of “Suffolk Skies”. We were please to take part, as we saw ourselves as photographic artists coming together with the other art forms shown during these two days.

We are planning a further exhibition at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester in the Autumn 2012.

The group enjoys regular meetings to display and discuss our new work. It is always difficult to allocate sufficient time to each image, because of the amount of new photographs wanted to be shown. Our exhibition in April will show this new work being done by SMG members.
