Kyle Electronic Design Ltd with the eco-wand project was short listed in the Small
Companies category of the VIBES Awards 2007. VIBES (Vision In Business for the Environment
Scotland) assess each entry on their environmental friendliness. Kyle Electronic
Design reached the final 8 while the eco-wand was still in the prototype stage.
Our eco-wand product range has reached the regional finals of the E.ON Life-IC competition
for inventions which will help reduce carbon emissions. Judging at this stage of
the competition is in Edinburgh in February 2008.
Kyle Electronic Design Ltd with the eco-wand range reached the Northern Area final
of the Shell Springboard Competition for inventions in the ecological area. The product
was well received but did not reach the national final.
