Top left is the internal signal generator that can produce step, sinusoid and ramp waveforms.
Top middle is the mimic of the controller chosen - Open Loop, Bang-bang, Proportional or 3-term.
Top right is the plant. This can be internal - servo or process - or external.
The lower display is an 8 channel oscilloscope showing the various signals as indicated on the mimic diagram.
The screen dump shows a proportional controller with step input and an internal simulated plant. The oscilloscope displays the input, output, error, drive and velocity signals.
The Open-loop control option can be used in plant identification experiments and displays are included to facilitate this.
