Model Engineering is fascinating. It covers a wide array of subject matter and involves the use of a wide variety of materials, in component fabrication, construction, assembly and finishing. Whilst model engineering is a term usually given to those working in metals, models using other materials are no less of a challenge and are engineering feats in their own right.

Here you can find a small example of models and maybe some useful information to help you in this pastime or hobby. The site is dedicated to Steam driven vehicles and Radio Control Planes as the subjects and the workshop that usually accompanies their making.

Exhibitions are a superb source of inspiration and motivation. Quality models on display provide subject matter for what I have termed "interesting things".
