This is not a money making venture

The Collection Must Be Protected

When you apply to borrow a piece of music you will be asked to send a post dated personal cheque  (No business cheques will be accepted). If the music is returned on time and in original condition, the cheque will not be cashed and will be returned.

The size of the deposit may vary. A single sheet of music will usually need a £5 deposit. If the piece is in an album or if the single sheet is a rare copy, then naturally a bigger deposit will be expected.
You will be told the amount needed before you commit yourself to the loan. So far no deposits have been retained

Obviously requests for information are processed totally free of charge
If the loan of a piece of music is needed then the borrower is personally responsible for buying the stamps and envelopes.

That way you can be sure that there are no added handling charges.
