"A Tangled Web" is a novel set in the late eighties in London, England. It tells the story of a group of people making a short dance film in London and the feelings between two brothers, one the unknown director of the film, Steve, and the other a well-known dancer, Dick. It also stars an ex-patriate American and dope-head, Maggie, who is Steve's partner and Sabrina, a black waitress at the restaurant whose owner is bank-rolling the film.
