Rossvale Madrid Coaches Ian Girvan/ Phil Davies
Milan and Madrid ( rossvale 1996 squads ) are
now in the middle of what has been quite a successful 2006/07 season.
They have been playing 9-side football in preparation for development 11s in
season 2007/08.
This season more focus has been put on positional play, the importance of
playing as a team and the benefits
of training properly. The boys have worked hard on these aspects of the game
which has meant there has been a
team togetherness resulting in great saves & tackles, good ball retention and
some fabulous goals.
If the boys can keep up the good work and continue to train hard then the future
certainly looks promising for this Rossvale age group.
In the past few months another 2 boys from our 96 age group have turned
pro-youth, James Finlay joining Kilmarnock
and Jordan Campbell joining Hamilton. We would like to thank them for their
contribution to Rossvale BC
and wish them all the best in their new ventures. One thing we are pretty sure
off is that they wont be the last.
We will try and post our up and coming fixtures on the site
The 1996 group have now joined the Cumbernauld
& Kilsyth Soccer Sevens League.
The boys and coaches are looking forward to
the new venture playing different teams
and attending new venues.
The 1996 would like to say a big thank you
to their new team sponsor LIONWELD KENNEDY.
There cant be many teams who's sponsor is
from Abu Dhabi in the middle east.
