To become a qualified driver and gain your full driving licence, two tests need to be passed:

Theory Test (details)
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Theory test for car drivers is split into 2 parts.  The multiple choice/response quiz and the Hazard Perception test.
Information about training materials for both elements of the theory test can be found here

If you would like to download a free Theory Test Demo, please click the following link to connect to the LDC Free Theory Test.

If you would like to try a free Theory Test Demo, please click the following link to connect to the LDC Free Hazard Perception Test.

The current fee for the theory test is £31 (from 1 April 2009)
It is possible that I could book the test for you.
The DSA driving test for car drivers last about 40 minutes during which time the examiner will be assessing that you can demonstrate the standard required for you to pass your driving test.
Information about training materials for the driving test can be found here and information about our courses and lessons here.
The current fee for the driving test (car) is £62.00  (from 1 April 2009)

If taken on Saturday or a weekday evening (after 4.30pm)  the fee is increased.

There is an increased rate for the Extended Test for disqualified drivers.

Please be aware that you cannot book your Practical driving test until you have passed your Theory test.

It is possible that I could book the test for you and I would expect to do this where the test fee is included within the cost of the course, please see course details.
