The One Week Pass Course usually finishes on Friday with the test, and starts up to 7 days before. It is ideal for those who are in a hurry, who could not otherwise find the time, but does require a great deal of concentration. Many people take time off work or book holiday leave as it is normally necessary to book this course and pass the theory test well in advance of the required start date (i.e. at least between one and three months in advance). However, occasionally short notice driving tests can sometimes be arranged.
The in-car training provided is 30 hours on a one pupil to one instructor basis. (This includes 2 hours for attending the driving test). When you add the home study, using the LD driving skills videos and workbook, the total duration of this course is around 40/45 hours. Please click here to see the course price.
And once you have successfully passed your driving test, the following are also available from me:-
Above courses marked with an asterisk (*) include the cost of LDC training resources, (Driving Skills Workbook and Videos/DVDs) and also the cost of the Driving Test (1 attempt).

PLEASE NOTE. The One Week Pass course is NOT suitable for everyone. This IS a very INTENSE course, besides some six hours or more driving each day, you must be prepared to spend an additional three to four hours studying ready for the following day. If you have any problems mastering any particular driving skill, there is every possibility that you will not be ready for the test, as it will not be practical to undertake any additional hours during the course. Should this be the case, please be aware that you will lose your test fee as it will not be possible to cancel or postpone the test with sufficient notice to DSA. Whilst we would always discuss all aspects of your performance, my decision on your readiness for the test will be final.
Semi-intensive Pass Course
The Semi-intensive Pass Course is identical in content to the One Week Pass Course above (i.e. 30 hours etc) except the training is spread over two or more weeks to suit you and your instructor’s schedule. This is the most popular and successful form of intensive training . It is designed for people who want to pass the test quickly but at a comfortable pace. Please click here to see the course price.
For those who have already learnt the basic control skills of driving we have the Midway Pass Course.
The in-car training provided is 20 hours on a one pupil to one instructor basis. (This includes 2 hours for attending the driving test). When you add the home study, using the LD driving skills videos and workbook, the total duration of this course is around 28 hours. Please click here to see the course price.
Test Booster Course
For those who are nearing test standard and who just need a short burst of lessons prior to the test, we have the Test Booster Course. It is also ideal for those who have had an attempt at the test some time ago but haven’t had any lessons since. The in-car training is 15 hours on a one pupil to one instructor basis. (This includes 2 hours for attending the driving test). When you add the home study, using the LD driving skills videos and workbook, the total duration of the course is around 20 hours. Please click here to see the course price.
Weekly Lessons
Learning to drive, using the LD system, can be spread over several weeks and lessons can be booked individually on a “pay as you drive” system, normally a minimum of one hour or in multiples thereof. Unlike in the courses described earlier the LD driving skills videos and workbook are not included in the lesson price, but can be purchased separately. As an alternative to buying the driving skills videos you can rent them, for a nominal fee, directly from me. Please click here to see the lesson price.
Similar to weekly lessons, but by block booking, you qualify for a discount on the individual lesson price. Please click here to see the block booking price.
This is a 2 hour lesson in which you can see if you like the LD System, see if you like me as an instructor, and more importantly, you can see whether you feel that you and I can work together towards obtaining your full driving licence. You are not obliged to book any additional lessons with me after this assessment lesson, it can merely be seen as a trial run! Please click here to see the assessment drive price.
A home visit to discuss your own training requirements are free and would normally only take about 15 - 30 minutes of your time. It does give you, the pupil, (or with parents) the opportunity to meet me, see my car and get first hand information about the LD Training System. You will be able to see the training materials and discuss your particular training requirements. It also does enable the pupil and I to get to know each other, and to make sure that we will be able to work together. If we are going to spend some 30 or so hours working together to obtain your full driving licence, there must be a good working relationship. There is no obligation to book lessons or a course with me, and you certainly will not get any hard sales from me.
Please note that it is not possible to guarantee that you will be ready for the test at the end of a course, and that if the period of postponement/cancellation required by DSA is not given, the test fee will be forfeited.
