From the first training session, a points scheme is starting and every player will be awarded points according to the following criteria:

1 point for attending training sessions
0.9 Points for attending other fitness sports instead of training as long as we know in advance
0.5 points if you miss training through illness or family commitments but only if we know about it
1 extra point for exceptional effort/commitment at training - Awarded by Richard the trainer/coach
1 extra point for being supportive to fellow members/adults at training - Awarded by adult helpers.

Negative points may be awarded at training for disruptive behaviour.

Additionally a total of
5 points will be awarded to players during a league or cup match for sportsmanship - exceptional effort/commitment or good team play.

Three times in the season - November - February and April, the points will be added up and the player in each team with the highest points will get a prize. The team points will also be totalised and the team with the highest points will also get a prize. At the end of the season there will also be some analysis of the points and further awards made at the presentation evening.

We will also award Man of the Match awards at each league game. These will be selected by the Parents/Supporters for best overall effort during the match.

So start earning those points..........
