1. Introduction
FC Crusaders is a single age group (currently
U14s) Football Club whose focus is on helping players to achieve
their potential
and
on ensuring they have fun while they develop their skills in a friendly,
safe atmosphere in which they and their parents can be completely
comfortable.
The coaching centers on balancing competitiveness with sportsmanship
and team spirit.
The Club is lucky to have the support
of and access to the enviable facilities at George Abbott Senior
School, where the children will train and Shere Recreation/

7. Team Structure and Matches
In a deliberate move to avoid segregation,
which the Club believes damages individual and team morale, two
teams
of equal status will be established. There is no A or B team.
The aims are that
- Each team is supportive of the other
- Players get regular games, to develop confidence,
match fitness and awareness
- Parents will see some return on their free-time
investment as they watch their children play and grow into rounded
players and team members
A maximum of fourteen players will be selected for each match.
8. Training
Saturday 10.00 to 12.00
The training will be designed to improve
mental as well as physical skills and will include a range of activities,
such as:
- Skills and tactics at our training ground
- Video presentations
- Laws of the game
- Sportsmanship
9. Fees
Final decisions on the funds required to
run the Club will be made by the Committee,
but the
cost to parents is comparable with other clubs in the area.
