We offer a comprehensive research service for those wanting to explore their Warwickshire ancestors.  Just let us know what you interests are.

It is worth remembering that historically many towns that once belonged within the county boundaries of Warwickshire no longer do so. Notably Coventry and Birmingham now belong to the modern county of West Midlands. Historically the county of Warwick used to look like this;

Comparing modern Warwickshire (below left) with historic Warwickshire (below right) we can see that the modern boundaries enclose a significantly smaller area.          Top

Our comprehensive service encompasses the area covered by the new boundaries of Warwickshire AND the West Midlands.        Top

COVENTRY - We enjoy local access to the records of Coventry and surrounding towns, including Kenilworth, Foleshill, Walsgrave-on-Sowe, Binley, Bedworth, Nuneaton and Atherstone, This is one of our specialist ‘modern’ research areas where we have access to many post-1901 records. As well as parish church records, this includes access to newspaper archives, street directories and electoral registers to present day. The archives also include in-house magazines published by some of the major manufacturing companies in the area describing the activities and fate of many of their employees. The records too include collections of notable criminal and murder cases reported in the local press. Our own unique indexes (compiled over a 20 year period) mean that we can search these much quicker than even the libraries and record offices can themselves.

COVENTRY WAR DEATHS - Our indexes also included details of the many locals, civilian and servicemen, killed in two World wars.    Top
