Welcome to the Scottish football data website - dedicated to the history of Scottish football through the years.  On the contents menu on the left you can browse the statistical history of the Scottish international team from the first match v England on 30th November 1872 until now.  Most of this research was done around 10 years ago at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow and is without a doubt the most in-depth stats you will find anywhere on Scotland at international level.

The Scottish League section has some sample seasons of results and goalscorers covering division one.  I am now in the process of compiling the match by match line-ups, scorers, crowds etc. of every Scottish League division one match from 1890/91 until 1938/39.  Please see my ORDERING PAGE for more details of what is available for sale at the moment.

The Scottish Clubs in Europe section details the results, goalscorers and goalminutes of every match played by a Scottish club in European competition from 1955/56 until now.  Scorers for both teams are given.

ABOUT THE WEBMASTER ALAN BROWN

As well as maintaining this website I represent Scotland at the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), which is based in Germany.  You can visit the IFFHS Website for details of their excellent publications which has some content from myself.  I provide stats to the Annuario del Calcio Mondiale which is an Italian language yearbook similar to the Rothmans football yearbook.  I am a member of the RSSSF, which is a group of likeminded statisticians.  Probably the best place to start looking for historical stats on the web!  You can visit the website at www.rsssf.com.
