Medium Pressure UV Lamps

Disinfection, Oxidation and Photochemical Processes
UV radiation, at wavelengths below 300nm, has an intensive germicidal effect. Micro-organisms such as viruses, bacteria, yeasts and spores are effectively destroyed, without the addition of chemicals.
The energy of UV radiation is sufficient to dissociate chemical compounds or to achieve molecular re-structuring. These reactions are used for the synthesis of organic materials as well as for oxidation processes and the decomposition of organic compounds in water purification,
Medium Pressure UV Lamps
Have a broad band emission in the UV- and visible light spectral range. Their strong UV radiation flux results in high penetration depth and efficient disinfection. This allows the design of compact UV disinfection plants. Their high UV intensity also makes them particularly suitable for photochemical processes.

Lamps for Specific Applications
By varying the gas filling, doping and the quartz material, the radiation flux and the spectrum of UV lamps can be matched to suit specific applications. This allows lamp efficiency to be optimized for disinfection, oxidation or photochemistry,
Medium Pressure UV
Medium pressure UV lamps, spectral lines from 200nm to 600nm, high radiation output in the UVC spectrum, powerful disinfection action,
Compact medium pressure UV lamps with increased output, compact design, good germicidal and oxidation action.
 Doped lamps: By means of doping materials, the spectra of the lamps can be changed or additional spectral lines can be produced.

We supply a wide range of standard types of spare lamps. Custom built lamps are designed in close co-operation with the customer to meet their requirements



Low Pressure UV Lamps
  
Disinfection, oxidation and ozone generation
UVC radiation at 254nm has an intensive germicidal effect. Micro-organisms, such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and yeasts are effectively killed. There is no need for additives. At wavelengths below 230nm, the energy of the UV radiation is sufficient to dissociate chemical compounds. Below 200nm, ozone is produced from oxygen and organic compounds are oxidized.
Classical Low Pressure UVC Lamps
offer excellent efficiency. 40% of the electrical power is converted into UVC radiation at 254nm. If synthetic quartz is used as the lamp material, VUV radiation at 185nm is also emitted.
 Amalgam Lamps
These high power, low pressure UVC lamps achieve three times the UVC output of classical, low pressure UVC lamps and can be used at higher ambient temperatures. Because of their high efficiency, long operating life and low operating costs, Amalgam lamps are a cost-effective alternative to medium pressure UV lamps. They save energy and generate very little heat.
Low pressure, UVC Lamps
 Classical low pressure UVC lamps of high efficiency, emitting at 254nm, ozone-free.
 Amalgam UVC lamps with triple the UVC output, higher ambient temperature up to 60C, emitting at 254nm, ozone-free.
 Classical low pressure UVC lamps with a synthetic quartz tube, emitting at 254nm and 185nm, ozone-generating.
 Amalgam UVC lamps with a synthetic quartz tube, emitting at 254nm and 185nm, ozone-generating.
