Year One
The first academic year is completed at BCUC in High Wycombe and at Cabair's Denham School of Flying in Uxbridge, we have four modules taught by BCUC lecturers and ground school taught by the Cabair instructors. After we have completed the modules at BCUC we will be going to Orlando to complete our Private Pilots License (PPL) with Orlando Flight Training.
 
Assessments

Introduction to the Air Transport Industry - Poster (20%), Magazine Article (30%), Briefing Document (50%).

Airline and Airport Marketing - Essay Plan (10%), Presentation (20%), Essay (30%), Exam (40%).

Health, Safety and Security of Airlines and Airports - Report (20%), Exam (20%), Presentation (20%), Exam (40%).
 
Ground Handling - Exam (30%), Presentation (30%), Quizzes (30%), Exam (10%).
 
PPL Ground School - Air Law, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology, Navigation, Aircraft General knowledge, Flight Planning and Communication.
 
 
 
Year Two
The second year of the course is conducted at either Bournemouth or Cranfield with Cabair College of Air Training for the first six months. After the fourteen ATPL exams have been passed a further six weeks are spent hour building in Orlando. Following this the Commercial Pilots License (CPL) Skills Test is conducted at either Bournemouth or Cranfield .

Year Three
The academic year is spent solely at BCUC completing the degree part of the course. Once all of the modules have been completed its back to either Bournemouth or Cranfield to complete your Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi Crew Certificate (MCC) which will give the students a frozen Air Transport Pilots License (ATPL).

Note: Percentage in brackets is overall weighting. Overall Module classifications 0-39% Fail, 40-49% Third,  50-59% 2:1, 60-69%2:2, 70-100% First. Pass rate for CAA modules is 75%.
