Introduction

This site is dedicated to informing those who are interested about my journey to become an Airline Pilot.
I am currently in my second year at Bucks New Uni studying on the BA (Hons) degree course in Air Transport.
The first year also allows students to study for their Private Pilots License (PPL) with Cabair at Denham along with degree subjects.
The second year is dedicated to achieving your ATPL exams (at either Bournemouth, Cranfield or Florida), your Commercial Pilots Licence and Multi Engine Rating (at either Bournemouth, Cranfield, Florida or Wycombe).

I have chosen to complete my professional/commercial training with Wycombe Air Centre, which is still part of the Cabair group. I have chosen to do this for various reasons the first was that I am tired of being messed around by Cabair all the time, and there lack of communication is appalling. The second reason being that the staff at Wycombe are amazing everyone is helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned with how you are progressing.

I would strongly urge anyone thinking of studying with Cabair Bournemouth/EPTA to talk to people have been there, because as a BNU student you will receive substandard treatment by the CGI who seems to have a vendetta against BNU.

I would like to note however that the above mentions of Cabair are not directed at the general everyday staff, flying instructors and operations guys, they are generally great. It is purely the Management and administration with in Cabair that is appalling.

News
I have passed all of my ATPL exams with an average of 87%, this includes to first time failures in Performance and Radio Navigation.
I am currently hours building (weather permitting) and will hopefully have enough hours to begin my CPL in June with Wycombe. You can view pictures and my progress in the my flying section of this site!
