The Institute exists for the teaching, examining, promotion, practice registration and support of practitioners of the integrated therapies of Psychotherapy, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanalysis, Energy Psychologies and Energy Methods as defined under the heading Meridian Psychotherapy.

It is the intention of the Institute to design, write and provide online and distance learning training courses and other trainings in the disciplines of Meridian Psychotherapy, to conduct examinations and to recognise successful examination candidates by their inclusion in a practitioner’s register.

From time to time the Institute shall make other awards as time and circumstance dictate.
