Yateley Red Cross is part of the Hampshire Branch of The British Red Cross Society. It runs a First Aid Group, many members of which are also trained in Emergency Response, and has medical equipment loan facilities. First Aid cover is provided for public events. Yateley Red Cross also trains members of the public in first aid. For more details, click on the link below.
It provides support to the civil authorities during times of emergency. Most recently, we had a number of crews out on Red Cross ambulances, particularly four-wheel drive vehicles, during the snow in January 2010. The Yateley Red Cross Centre is in Monteagle Lane, Yateley [See map]. The First Aid Group meets there, and training takes place there too. Medical Equipment Loan, however, operates from Yateley Medical Centre, Oaklands, by St Peter's Church [See map].
