S-Plan Users Page - get the latest upgrade here (free for existing users)

Request for feedback

Are there any S-Plan users out there who would like to submit their circuit designs to be included on the Library page? How about some lap times as well? We could even have a circuit of the month and start up some sort of web racing. Any comments ?

Help - how do I download my S-Plan Designer upgrade?
1. Click on the download button above to load a compressed file containing all the upgrade files for the latest version of S-Plan Designer. Take a note (or specify) where the compressed file is to be loaded on your PC so that you can find it.

2. Backup all the existing files in your S-Plan directory if you're the cautious type (a.k.a. wise!).

3. The compressed file is self extracting so all you have to do next is run it to uncompress the upgrade files which will be automatically loaded in to the S-Plan directory unless you specify otherwise, overwriting any existing files.

4. See the history list below to find out what new features you will be getting for your trouble. Happy planning!

Upgrade History

  • The title page for S-Plan Viewer has an upgrade button which invites the user to obtain an access code to upgrade to S-Plan Designer.

Version 1.03    released 6/5/99
  • Forced track display and track used backgrounds to be white irrespective of colour scheme selected for the Windows desktop.
  • Corrected bug in printing the Short Chicane track pieces.

Version 1.04    released 9/8/99
  • Corrected decimal place holder error which prevented all PCs set up to use a comma as a decimal point (i.e. most of Europe!) from reading track files.
  • Implemented "auto-redraw" on the track display screen which automatically redraws the contents of the screen when any obscuring window is removed.

Version 1.05    released 3/9/99
  • The decimal place holder error was not properly corrected for PCs set up to use a comma as a decimal point and a period as a thousands separator (i.e. still most of Europe!). This has now finally been put to bed and all European PC configurations should now be able to load track files.

  • A lane colour can be specified and displayed for each lane.
  • Improved editing features, including quick access to editing tools by clicking the right hand mouse button.
  • Additional move tool added to make fine tuning of the position of a boundary outline much easier.
  • Author, creation date and notes can now be entered for each circuit if required.
  • Alternative track systems can be selected from the tool panel.
  • Help text automatically appears when the mouse is held over any control.
