Put simply it's an SSD 6 car powerbase that has been reprogrammed for enhanced functionality.
The standard PB Pro is essentially a software upgrade that uses the existing 6 car powerbase hardware.
If you require enhanced power delivery to give car power performance levels similar to analogue systems an optional hardware modification is also available that involves upgrading the powerbase output stage. When used in conjunction with a high current power supply cars no longer experience surges and dips in drive power when other cars deslot or cross lane changers.
This version is known as PB Pro Simple-H or PB Pro SH.
