A Little of My
Story
I was born
in Bristol, U.K. and lived there until I married Ray who is Welsh. We
live in Wales and I feel lucky to have an allegiance both to England and
Wales.
A rather sickly child, I grew
up against all expectations to be quite a strong person who is inquisitive and
who has a passion for orchids and poetry. I have a website devoted to orchids and if you

of languages. I have studied French, Italian, Welsh and my own mother tongue
English. I have a little understanding of several others as well. I love to
communicate and think it important to be able to chat to people in their own
language. I DO wish it possible to learn all the languages in the
world!
We have
two lovely sons Stephen and Robert and four wonderful grandsons - David,
Geraint, Ieuan and Patrick. Unfortunately they all live some distance away owing
to the location of our sons' employment.
I trained
and spent my life working as a registered nurse but was fortunate enough to be able to gain
a degree in the History of Art which was wonderful and opened up many new
horizons. I also have a great love of English literature.
I hope to
share some of my interests with you on this site. - Please come and join me
again sometime. I plan on adding new things whenever I can. I now have three books
