What is ALPHA? Alpha is a short weekly course which looks at the basics of the Christian faith. During this course we will discuss the following issues:
Does life have any meaning? Does God exist? Is Christianity unique? What about suffering? Why did Jesus die? How do I read the Bible? How do I pray? What is God like?
Who is it for? Alpha is for everyone! Particularly if you are: Definitely not a Christian at the moment Investigating Christianity A new Christian A newcomer to the church Alpha was a course originally developed by Holy Trinity Brompton (Church of England) in London. Churches of all denominations and nationalities now use the course as an introduction to the basics of Christian faith. We have run quite a number of ALPHA courses since 1997.
