3 YEAR-OLDS FOR SALE

3-year-old dark bay gelding by Bandmaster, sire of champion hunters and riding horses. His dam is Bowood Dancing Lady (out of a Button Bright mare).

This gelding (shown above and below) moves fluently and actively, has a very kind and genuine temperament and a nice bit of bone. He stands under 15.2 hh and thought likely to make a small riding horse.

3-year-old bay filly (pictured left) by Bandmaster out of a mare by Sea Raven ex Broadstone Diamond Ice (by Demonstrator) who is a half-sister to HOYS winning hunter Broadstone Wizard. Her dam is half-sister to the successful riding horse Bowood Diamond.

This mare is very well put together, she's grown into herself a bit since this photo was taken in the summer. She has a nice length of rein, elevated paces and a really sweet temperament. She stands around 16 hh, has enough elegance in her paces to make a large riding horse, but also carries a bit of bone, so could be a quality hunter.

3-year-old grey filly (pictured below) by Thank Heavens out of ID x mare by Bandmaster out of Florence. Smart athletic sort of filly - likely to make an eventer.

Bowood Pilgrim
4 year-old, measured just under 15hh, dark bay gelding oozing quality and says look at me or else!

This little horse has a very kind and quiet temperament and should really aim for small hack or intermediate classes. Very typey, correct and straight moving.

He's by our champion riding pony stallion Llanarth Top Cat, out of Bowood Colleen, a beautiful moving thoroughbred mare, bred in the pink by Insan (Our Native).

A potential hack in the making, but he could equally turn his hand to any sport with his breeding for soundness and temperament.

2008 Youngstock

Very precocious colt, born on Easter Sunday. He already thinks he is on the Olympic dressage squad with the most amazing, powerful and elastic movement. One to watch for the future, by Bandmaster out of Bowood Dancing Lady (Lord of the Dance ex Buttonhole).

Filly foal by Bandmaster. Seen here at six hours old, with her mum Bowood Sea Raven's Diamond (out of Broadstone Diamond Ice by Sea Raven) a half sister to Balmoral and Diamond. This filly foal is very bright and inquisitive, and thinks she is quite the little lady!

She has a very easy and elegant fluid movement. An active little madam that enjoys flying changes and going as fast as she can! Now all grown up - see picture above!
