Lucid

OK so I dreamt this poem. I don’t know why I dreamed of Lucid before I even knew I had to write them an intro poem, but I did so I used it. As the wonderful Dame Edna would say, “Spooky eh”

I have always admired them yes, so I was well chuffed to be described by their beautiful guitarist as awesome, how he and his partner were awe-struck by me an mi band earlier in the day. I was even more struck, when they hit me, no, when they asked to do a double bill with me. I will keep you posted.

Me and Rickie Lee Jones right

Were in this dream

Well on this train

As angels filled the sky

As images of music

Melted above us

Challenging the very consciousness

Of this carriage

As faces all invading,

Singing, shaped the walls

Travel unravelled into sublime arriving

Well me and the penguin and sweet Rickie we

Turned into mythical beings

And soared through the hearts

Of this very audience

Who vowed

Truly vowed

That from now

They would keep all their dreaming

Lucid
