Welcome
Hi and welcome to my site.
Hopefully you will have noticed the total re-design since you last visited, I must admit that unfortunately I haven't had the time to do much with the site for the last year or so but hopefully now I can give it the attention it deserves.
I'm making a few changes to this site and it will now include a section on my other car, a Mitsubishi FTO GPX which I have had for amost 2 years now and I am now slowly starting to add modifications to it as time (& funds) allow..
New - Beat Bits for Sale
New section now added with a couple of goodies in it to smarten up your Beat, Hopefully there will be more products added as time goes on (and as funds allow me to buy stock of them to start with...).
About the Honda Beat
The Honda Beat was designed in Japan and was Hondas first convertable car for quite a while. It was designed to fit into their Kai class of vehicles that allowed people to own a car without having to own a parking space to put it in. (unlike here where people just park where they feel like it...) It was regulated by various restrictions such as dimensions, engine capacity and engine power.
Launched in 1991, the Beat quite a success in Japan and would have been well received in other countrys if the costs could have been kept down to an acceptable level.
Over the years Honda released several versions of the Beat and almost everything was an option with the std car being quite basic in equipment levels. More details on the different versions and optional extras can be found on the specifications pages.
