I arrived at Bamburgh beach about 4:30am to see a beautiful sun rise. The water was warm and the wind light, it was amazing! I had travelled overnight to get there and was blessed with several hours of solitary access. I went back the following evening when I noticed the sun peak out from behind an overcast sky. I was leaving a pub in Seahouses after eating my evening meal and realised the light was changing. I ran to the hotel, grabbed my digital and drove to Bamburgh. The light was amazing. People on the beach stopped to stare at the light, I kept snapping until it all died away.

I had less luck at Dunstanburgh Castle. I went at the end of my first day and for dawn the following day.

I stayed at Seahouses. A great base and a magnificant beach covered in the most amazing rock structures. This place could keep a macro lens busy for many days.
