Family Days Out
Aquapark Torremolinos The coasts first and biggest water park. Attractions include mini-golf, water toboggans, a wave pool and the kamikaze twister ride.
Crocodile Park (Torremolinos) A chance to "cuddle" a baby crocodile before meeting the rest of the family which includes crocodiles over 5 metres in length. In the nursery you may be lucky and see eggs hatching. Other highlights are the African Museum, mini-cinema, small animal zoo, reptile house and feeding time.
Parque Aquatica Mijas (Fuengirola) Another great water park. Raft slides, water chutes, wave pool and kamikaze slide. There’s also a mini aquatic park for the little ones and swimming pools for those who like their action a little less wild.
Sea Life Centre Located at Benalmadena marina, here you can handle crabs, starfish and sea cucumbers. There is a sting ray tank and an underwater glass tunnel to view tiger sharks swimming above your head.
Selwo Adventure Park (Estepona) The park offers the chance to see more than 2000 animals from five continents living in semi-wild conditions.
Selwo Marina (Benalmadena) This recently opened attraction in Paloma Park hosts regular shows throughout the day with sea lions, penguins and dolphins.
Telecabina (Arroya de la Miel) Take the cable car to the top of Monte Calamoro for spectacular views.
Tivoli World (Arroya de la Miel) The biggest theme park on the coast with more than 3 dozen rides.
Zoo Fuengirola Superbly designed to see animals from around the world living in their natural habitats. Also opens at night for seeing nocturnal animals

Benalmadena Well developed tourist resort with a fantastic marina.
Fuengirola The nearest big town to the apartment, Fungirola has countless shops, restaurants and bars. On Tuesdays it hosts the coasts largest market.
Gibraltar Steeped in History and tax-free shopping.
Granada Home of the magnificant Ahlambra Palace.
Malaga The capital of the Costa del Sol, Malaga is a huge contrast to the tourist resorts. Fabulous architecture, gardens, museums (including the Picasso Museum) shopping and restaurants.
