VOICE OF DESTINY
'And thine ears
shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it,
when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.'
Isaiah 30:21(KJV)
God really loves you and has a beautiful and
glorious destiny for you, that destiny covers all that God has called
you to be, to have, and to do but before you can discover, pursue, and
fulfil it; you should be:
'HEIR-ABLE':-
To be 'heir-able' means to be able to be a heir of God. Every human
being alive today is 'heir-able' but not all are yet heirs of God.
Naturally we are all born in sin thereby separated from God (Rom.3:23).
But God in His infinite mercy and unconditional love reconciled us unto
Himself through the death of His only begotten Son for our sins on the
cross (Rom.5:8-10). When anyone takes the bold and humble step of faith
by receiving Jesus as Lord and Saviour; that person becomes a new
creature, a child of God and a sheep of God. As a child of God, one is
now a heir of God!
'Then said Jesus
unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the
sheep.'
'I am the door: by
me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and
find pasture.'
'I am the good
shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.'
John 10:7,9,11(KJV)
'The Spirit itself
beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:'
'And if children,
then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we
suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.'
Rom.8:16-17(KJV)
'And if ye be
Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.'
Gal.3:29(KJV)
'HEAR-ABLE':-
To be 'hear-able' means to be able to hear the voice of God. Every heir
of God as a new creation and a sheep of God is able to hear His
voice!
'And they heard the
voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and
Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God
amongst the trees of the garden.'
Gen.3:8(KJV)
'To him the porter
openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by
name, and leadeth them out.'
John 10:3(KJV)
'And the LORD came,
and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel
answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.'
1
Sam.3:10(KJV)
Since what God speaks is spirit and life; his voice is heard in the
spirit man, the innermost part of man that is born again and alive when
one becomes a heir of God.
'It is the spirit
that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak
unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.'
John 6:63(KJV)
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one (1 John
5:7);and also are one with the recreated spirit man (1 Cor.6:17). What
the Father speaks, the Son speaks; and what the Son speaks, the Holy
Spirit speaks. It is what the Spirit speaks that the recreated spirit
man hears! What the spirit man hears is passed on to the human mind
which is part of the human soul.Whatever is passed on could appear
'spectacular' (Acts 2:16-18) or 'modest' (1 Kings 19:12) to one's
natural senses and intellect.
'Howbeit when he,
the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak: and he will shew you things to come.'
'He shall glorify
me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.'
'All things that the
Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and
shall shew it unto you.'
John 16:13-15(KJV)
'HERE-ABLE':-
To be 'here-able' means to be able to be where any heir of God listens
and responds to the voice of God. Every heir of God hears God's voice
but if any one stays away from the place of personal and intimate
fellowship with God, it will appear as if either God does not speak or
the person cannot hear God's voice. Heirs of God stay away from 'the
secret place' due to ignorance, laziness, busyness, or guilt! 'This
secret place' is that beautiful and perfumed place (Psalms 16:11) where
one regularly seeks God and meets with Him. It is the awesome yet
lovesome presence of God (Heb.12:22-24). It can and should be 'carried'
from one's 'closet' (Matt.6:6) into one's 'outside world'.
It is accessed whether one is in the kitchen or the office, on a
hospital bed, in a prison cell, on a battlefield, on a ship, plane or
train, or in a forest or desert! It is entered with
thanksgiving and praise (Psalms 100:4); and with humble boldness
(Heb.4:12) through the blood of Jesus (Heb.10:19)! It takes personal
commitment and discipline by God's grace to shut out everything else
from one's mind and stay there (Psalms 46:10; Philippians 4:6)! It does
not involve any religious ritual to earn God's favour and blessing
because every heir of God is already 'blessed and highly
favoured'(Eph.1:3, 6)! It is in the Spirit realm therefore it can only
be entered by faith (Heb.11:6).
It is where the heir of God receives divine comfort, encouragement,
instruction and direction concerning divine destiny on any issue of
life whether generally through the scriptures (2 Tim.3:16-17) or
specifically by the anointing within one's spirit man (1 John 2:20,
27). The anointing never operates contrary to the scriptures! Therefore
if one listens to something contrary to the scriptures, that voice is
definitely not from God!
'That the LORD
called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.'
1 Sam.3:4(KJV)
'And there was a
certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord
in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.'
Acts 9:10(KJV)
A heir of God can also hear His voice spoken through another heir of
God (Acts 22:14-16);and what one hears will not contradict but confirm
what one has heard directly (Acts 26:16-18) as seen in the
example of Saul of Tarsus and Ananias of Damascus because God is not
the author of confusion (1 Cor.14:33)!
Whatever divine direction is received in form of instructions, the heir
of God has the personal choice and the divine grace to carry them out
because God is pleased with His heirs to be not only hearers but doers
(James 1:22)! For the place of sweet and warm communion with God is
also the place of willing and trusting obedience to the voice of
God,the voice of destiny!
'Also I heard the
voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me.'
Isaiah 6:8(KJV)
'While it is said,
To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the
provocation.'
Hebrews 3:15(KJV) |
