THREE LITTLE CHICKS

There were three little eagle chicks called 'Thinker', 'Talker', and 'Actor'. 

One day, when the mother eagle left the nest to get food for the chicks, the three chicks decided to try to fly on their own!

'Thinker' went to a corner of the nest to meditate on the task without speech or action.

'Talker' at the top of its voice started saying, 'I can fly, I can fly!' without thought or action.

'Actor' went all over the nest trying to flap its wings without thought or speech and almost fell out of the nest into the deep ravine far below!

But none of them succeeded!

When the mother eagle returned with some food, and they all had finished their meal she asked them what they had been up to!

They each narrated their different but unsuccessful attempts to fly.

She then calmly with a sense of humour showed them how their attempts could not have succeeded!

They all laughed when they realised how funny and foolish their attempts to fly had been!

 Their mother then continued to explain to them that they were unique amongst all birds especially birds of prey just like mankind amongst all animals especially when they are in Christ Jesus:

 ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.’

 ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.’

‘And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.’

‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.’

 ‘And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;’

She said that they had the potential in them to fly just like the potential of all the things of God in any Christian to fulfill divine destiny:

 ‘According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:’

 2 Peter 1:3(KJV)

 ‘Divine destiny is simply all that God has called us to be’, she said.

She also said',' To achieve divine destiny, we need our Creator’s manual known to the Christian as the Bible':

‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:’

 ‘That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.’

2 Tim.3:16-17(KJV)

She expounded that they can learn how and when to release their ‘hidden and inner’ potential from the manual:

‘And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.’

2 Tim.3:14(KJV)

‘A teacher like me helps you to learn just like the Holy Spirit helps the Christian’, she continued:

‘But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.’

‘But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.’

 She then said, ‘Based on whatever we learn, we can proceed with the acquired divine wisdom to think, talk, and act upon ‘the flight manual’’:

‘This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.’

‘We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;’
