SUPREME MAKEOVER
'For we are his
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them.'

The ultimate purpose or destiny of God
for his people in Christ Jesus on earth in this life is clearly shown
in the above scriptures.
The process of fulfilling this
purpose or destiny is known as supreme makeover (Ezek.16:6-14)!
It is real and true, and is not cosmetic and false as in human
religion (Matt.23) by which mankind tries to change or hide the inside
from the outside.
'Being born again,
not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which
liveth and abideth for ever.'
1 Peter 1:23(KJV)
'Therefore if any man be
in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.'
2 Cor. 5:17(KJV)
The first part of supreme
makeover is the new birth in Christ.
The new birth is the miracle that takes place in one's innermost being
when one repents of one's sins before God; and trust in the Lord Jesus
Christ as one's personal Lord and Saviour.
This miracle involves the gracious working of the Holy Spirit as God's
word is sown in one's heart just as it is-'dirty, wicked, dead, dark,
hurt, wounded, sick, lonely, and battered (Rom.3:10-18; Ezek.16:3-6) in
sight of a holy and loving
God'!
'I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.'
'And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.'
Rom.12:1-2(KJV)
'That ye put off
concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts;'
'And be renewed in the
spirit of your mind;'
'And that ye put on the
new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.'

The second part of supreme makeover is
progressive and lasts throughout one's lifetime on earth.
This is the phase in which the new life in Christ, the life of God, in
one's innermost being begins to transform, control, and/or preserve
one's thoughts, ambitions,
motives, attitudes, emotions, and decisions.
This phase also involves the dual agency of the written word that one
meditates on as one is graciously helped by the indwelling Spirit of
God!
The rate of progress depends on the degree of one's co-operation with
the Lord in this respect as instructed in the above scriptures.
'But ye are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath
called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;'

' Even every one that is called
by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.'

'For as the girdle
cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to

Supreme makeover is 'Jesus on the
inside working on the outside...' so that more of what one is in Christ
on the unseen inside is more and more manifest on the seen outside.
Therefore supreme makeover shows forth God's glory, love, power, and
praise through each and everyone of his people
to the world!
