MIGRATORS OF
DESTINY
'The LORD our God spake
unto us in Horeb,
saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:'
Deut.1:6(KJV)
Every person alive today on planet earth
is on a journey through time into eternity. Everyone is born into sin
(Psalm 51:4)
and travels on this journey of vanity (Eccl.1:14)! On this journey,
everyone seems
to be gong somewhere but are actually getting nowhere.
But when anyone repents of one's sins and receives Jesus Christ as
one's personal Lord and Saviour, one commences a new journey which is a
spiritual one known as the journey of destiny. The journey of destiny
is one in which one can now live out the dream of God for one's life.
Everyone that has been, is, and will be on this journey are known
'migrators of destiny'.
During this journey, the migrators individually or corporately have
different reasons to camp. There is a right reason to camp when they
experience 'the positives'. This could be when one is celebrating one's
successes, or one's encounters with God and gets relaxed in one's
'comfort zone'!
There is also a wrong reason to camp when
feeling 'the negatives'. This is when one is 'having a pity
party' or 'playing the blame game' trapped in guilt and frustration
held down, held back and held out of God's purposes for one's precious
life!
But even when the reason to camp is right there is always the time to
move
forward at the Lord's command!
'Ye have compassed this
mountain long enough: turn you northward.'
Deut.2:3(KJV)
'Not as though I had
already attained, either were already perfect: but
I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am
apprehended of Christ Jesus.'
Philippians 3:12(KJV)
'Brethren, I count not
myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I
do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto
those things which are before,'
Philippians 3:13(KJV)
'I press toward the mark
for the prize of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus.'
Philippians 3:14(KJV)
'Let us therefore, as many
as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any
thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.'
Philippians 3:15(KJV)
Even when we have camped for the wrong reason, we should be conscious
of
the spectators watching, people that had been migrators who had
overcome
by faith unto the end and are now entered into glory and move forward
as over comers in Christ who is the best example for us!
'Wherefore seeing we also
are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set
before us,'
Hebrews 12:1(KJV)
'Looking
unto Jesus the
author and finisher of our
faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and
is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.'
Hebrews 12:2(KJV)
