DREAMTALK 5
Job 33:14-18(KJV)
"For God speaketh once,
yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not."
"In a dream, in a vision
of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon
men, in slumberings upon the bed; "
"Then he openeth the ears
of men, and sealeth their instruction,"
"That he may withdraw man
from his purpose, and hide pride from man."
"He keepeth back his soul
from the pit, and his life from perishing by
the sword."
'I,the dreamer had a new dream.'
'I found myself on the edge of a very thick and dark forest
full of wild,ugly and foul smelling plants and animals. The strange
forest sang a sad song,the words of which I could not understand.'
'Just in front of me was a dim light and I was moving towards it.'
'I got to a strait gate that was securely locked and barred me from
getting to the source of the light!'
'Then I looked up and saw a Lamb as it had been slain(Rev.5:6) and
heard a voice saying,"Behold the Lamb
of God,which taketh away the sin
of the world(John 1:29b)! "'
'I bowed my head shamefully and heard myself cry,"God be merciful to me
a sinner!(Luke 18:13b)"'
'Suddenly a strait gate opened before me and passing through the
door I found myself on a narrow way(Matt.7:13-14;John 10:7,9).'
'Within the narrow way,I beheld the most place I had seen on earth.'
'What kind of place was this?!'
' It was a large farm in the countryside on a bright,sunny day!!!'
'And it was filled with beautiful and sweet smelling farm plants and
animals!'
'A melodious song seem to come from everywhere on the farm that one
will have the impression that it was a singing farm!
'The words of the song were from Isaiah 43 verses 7 and 21 as follows:
'This
people have I formed for myself.'
'Each
of them are called by my name.'
'For I
have created each one for my glory.'
'All
of them shall shew forth my praise.'
'Then I said aloud to myself ,"This could surely be heaven!"'
'"It's more like heaven on earth!(Deut.11:21d)",said a voice of someone
who must have overheard me.'
'I turned slowly around to see the person who spoke to me. "Do you work
here?",I asked.'
'I am sent to conduct you on a brief tour of this farm.'
'He took me to a lovely vineyard on the farm(Isaiah 27:2-3). With the
song of the farm in the background,I could hear a new song based on
Judges 9:13 coming from the vine!
'When we were within the vineyard,I noticed that there were three kinds
of vine therein. Then the guide explained,"This vineyard is a
representation of God's people on earth and it is made up of these 3
groups of maturity which are the baby vine(1 John 2:12,13c);the youth
vine(1 John 2;13b,14b);and the senior vine(1 John 2:13a,14a). Even the
senior vine never claim perfection(Philippians 3;12-15). All the vine
are meant to progressively grow from the baby stage through the youth
stage,unto the senior stage. This growth is enhanced when each and all
the vine discover and pursue their personal and joint destinies in
Christ. The corporate destiny of the vine is to become more and more
like the Vine himself(John 15:1). The fruitfulness of each vine is
determined by its faithfulness to the Vine(John 15:4-5)."'
'As I looked up,I noticed a very dark storm cloud coming from the
direction of the dark forest and I felt that it would destroy the
farm,especially the tender baby vine! Yet the day never lost its
brightness and the singing never ceased! I was both afraid and confused!
'Then the guide said to me,"Be not afraid! The storm cloud represents
the 'dark' challenges(Rom.8:35) that God's people face. The Lord of the
vineyard(Matt.20:8),who is also the Master of the farm(Matt.23:8,10)
allows the dark clouds for the good of his people(Rom.8:28) without
their being separated from his everlasting love(Rom.8:38-39).'
'He then took me to a high place adjacent to the vineyard and asked me
to look carefully towards the dark forest. I noticed a wild vine
carried to the strait gate by which there was a cross. As it bowed
under the cross it became transformed into a tame vine which was
then transported to the vineyard where it was immediately
planted. And he said,"This is the first harvest,the harvest of souls
into the farm,this attracts joy in heaven(Luke15:7,10)!'
'At the other end of the vineyard,I saw another wonder! A vine was
being gently uprooted and then gracefully lifted up into the heavens
till I saw it no more. The guide gladly told me,"Another saint had just
gone to be with the Lord forever-this is the second harvest,the harvest
of souls from the farm into the eternal and glorious rest of the
Lord(Philippians 1:23)!'
'Then he said,"Before I return to the Master of the farm,I will leave
you the message that you are to pass on to others-it is two-fold.'
'Firstly,you are to tell the lost world of sin represented by the dark
forest that there is still an entrance into the farm through Jesus
Christ the Son of God who died for man on the cross of Calvary!'
'Secondly,you are to encourage God's people represented by the vineyard
on the farm to fulfill their collective and singular destinies
faithfully!'
'Abruptly he disappeared before my eyes and there was a new song that
came from the heavens:
"Thou art worthy, O Lord,
to receive glory and honour and power: for
thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were
created."(Rev.4:11[KJV])'
'With this song gradually fading away in my ears I awoke from sleep
arising to write these words to you,dear reader!!!'
