DREAMTALK 1
Job 33:14-18(KJV)
"For God speaketh once,
yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not."
"In a dream, in a vision
of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon
men, in slumberings upon the bed; "
"Then he openeth the ears
of men, and sealeth their instruction,"
"That he may withdraw man
from his purpose, and hide pride from man."
"He keepeth back his soul
from the pit, and his life from perishing by
the sword."
Exodus 7:10-12(KJV)
"And Moses and Aaron went
in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD
had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before
his servants, and it became a serpent."
"Then Pharaoh also called
the wise men and the sorcerers: now the
magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their
enchantments."
"For they cast down every
man his rod, and they became serpents: but
Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods."
Numbers 17:6-8(KJV)
"And Moses spake unto the
children of Israel, and every one of their
princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their
fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their
rods."
"And Moses laid up the
rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of
witness."
"And it came to pass, that
on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle
of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was
budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded
almonds."
In a strange dream,a certain person overheard the following
conversation between two other persons whom were hidden behind a
curtain:
1st voice:'Oh,Lord,according to Exodus 7:10-12 and Numbers 17:6-8 I
desire and request from you the rod of Aaron so that I have power
over all my enemies and prominence in the midst of my brethren.'
2nd voice:'But I do not need another Aaron!'
1st voice:'Yet Lord,according to Psalm 145:16 you always grant me
the desires of my heart;and my desires are to possess the rod of Aaron
to fulfill my destiny!'
2nd voice:'You are not destined to be Aaron.'
1st voice:Your refusal violates your promises in my bible.'
2nd voice:'Are you really a Christian?'
1st voice:'Of course,I am.'
2nd voice:'What is a Christian?'
1st voice:'A Christian is a person who has repented from his or her
sins and received Jesus Christ the Son of God as his or her personal
Lord and Saviour.'
2nd voice:'Your answers are correct!'
1st voice:'What do these questions have to do with your refusal of my
humble request '
2nd voice:'Yours answers proved that you are a follower of Jesus
Christ. The One you follow is far greater than Aaron. He called 'a rod'
in Isaiah 11:1 and he shall rule the nations with a rod of iron
according to Revelation 19:15. As your high priest he does not belong
to the order of Aaron but to the order of Melchisedec(Hebrews 6:20). He
has power over all things(Matthew 28:18 and Ephesians 1:20-23)
including all your enemies. He has pre-eminence over his contemporaries
as declared in Hebrews 1:8-9. '
1st voice:'Wow! That's really awesome!'
2nd voice:'There's even more! You as well as all his other followers
are seated together in heavenly places in him(Ephesians 2:6). He has
given you authority over all the power of the enemies of your soul(Luke
10:19). You are to seek to serve your brethren in Christ not to lord it
over them(Matthew 20:25-28).'
1st voice:'I see now that my desire to have the rod of Aaron was not in
line with your word and my divine destiny.'
2nd voice:'Now go forth and fulfill your destiny!'
As the last statement of the second voice began to echo louder and
louder,the dreamer suddenly woke up!
