The Chronology of the Plays

Our chronology is based on the official "Oxford Shakespeare" list, with a few important changes. The three parts of Henry VI have been interspersed with other plays from around the same period, to maintain variety in the running order. It is also worth noting that Henry VI parts 2 and 3 were written before part 1. (i.e. Part 1 is a prequel.) Love's Labour's Lost has been included early to allow for a special guest. Sir Thomas More has been removed and placed in the "extended canon" section, since only very small parts are considered to be by Shakespeare and I feel it will be hard for readers to find a copy. The poems and sonnets will be interspersed to maintain variety in the running order.
