The Lords of Midnight

This was a fantastic game for the 8 bit machines - Spectrum / Amstrad etc. Someone has spent a vast amount of time porting it to the PC, giving it new graphics, and it looks like it can now take new scenarios. Try it out, no install needed - just unzip this file and run MidnightEngine.exe to play.
