Rockstar, the company that made these games, have very kindly put them on the web for free download. They have even tweaked them so that they work with todays faster computers using XP.

Classic games, not that old but of course times move quickly. The same addictive car-stealing cop-chase grenade-tossing pedestrian-squelching flame-thrower mayhem as the modern PS2 GTA3 except for the camera angle, which is always from above, but zooms out as you go faster.

GTA2 introduced gangs, and was more of the same. You can play GTA2 head-to-head against a friend over a network or even the internet.
