Programs I have written
All of these prgrams are written in VB6, you may need to install the Visual Basic runtime files. Most of these programs were written and tested using Windows 98, but should work in XP.
Marbles -Hypnotic graphics.
KidsCursor - Kids first computer program.
VagueClock - Gives you the time in a more friendly manner, and can sync your computer clock.
Here are some simple little tools that you can open directly from here.
Interest Calculator - If you invest £1000 @ 10% for 10 years, how much do you get?
Calc - basic calculator with scrollable history list.
ColourPicker - choose the Red, Green, Blue and it gives you the hex value.
Overnet Filter - makes a filter that you can use in Overnet/eDonkey that stops you seeing porn and/or foreign files.
ASCII - simply displays the ASCII table (click to change fonts).
Now this is interesting. Someone may find this useful. It allows you to connect and disconnect a modem remotely. So, if you have Internet Connection Sharing on Windows 98 it allows other machines on the local network to control the modem.
Remote_Modem.zip (This ZIP file contains 2 program, one for the SERVER (the machine with the modem - run this program first) and one for the CLIENT (The machine on your network that wants to control the modem). This program uses a special trick to control the modem, so it probably only works in Windows 98.
Here are some experimental graphic programs I have found on an old backup-cd of mine, they are just test programs so they are a bit ropey, but they can produce interesting effects so I am putting them here. You can just open these directly from the website if you want.

chaos - some of the mountain and iceberg drawings look cool.
array_view
pot-hole
grid
worms_1_04.scr This is an old screensaver, looks funky on a fast PC. Save it in your WINDOWS folder. For Windows 98, not XP.
b_and_w_mand1 - can make nice black and white fractals. I made improvements to this program but unfortunately I seem to have lost the sourcecode. Here are some pics I created with both versions.
