This is for Windows 98, but should be similar for other versions of windows.

 

Do you see MDM running on your machine?

Do one ctrl-alt-del - if you see it then you have a problem. This program is a microsoft debugging tool and can get installed when you install certain applications such as Visual C or even Office. If sits there creating .TMP files in C:\WINDOWS and never removing them The files will look similar to this

and there could be hundreds of them.

Here's 2 quick fixes that you should Run (choose OPEN) to stop MDM.

1. Run this REG fix to stop MDM being run each time your PC starts. DOWNLOAD MDM REG FIX

2. Do a ctrl-alt-del and kill off MDM

3. Rename MDM.EXE to MDM.OLD. DOWNLOAD MDM RENAMER

 

That should sort it out !
