There is no call-out fee for Hanover area.

If I do not fix the problem then I will charge nothing except the callout. The average repair cost is £50.

For working on the machine in your house/business

There is no callout fee for Hanover, £10 for just outside, £15 for the rest of Brighton, and £20 for the surrounding areas.

Labour cost is £30 per hour. Minimum charge is £30.

If the job is difficult or needs specialised tools then I may need to work on your machine here..

For working on the machine in my house

You can drop the machine off at my house and pick it up when I phone/text you (sometimes later the same day, generally within 24 hours).

I will pick the machine up and drop it off in Brighton for an extra £10.

I can phone you and discuss alternatives if the job looks like going over a specified amount.

System Disk failure, non-boot disk.

If you have a complete hard-disk failure and it is unrepairable then I can attempt to recover important files. This can be a lengthy process, and I will need the machine for at least a few days. The standard charge to recover data from a damaged desktop is £75, from a laptop the charge is £100. However the job may need the additional purchase of parts to repair the broken drive, then the cost will be £200 (I will phone you to discuss this first). If the data is unrecoverable then I will not charge (except for parts).

Most jobs can be completed within 24 hours. I can often work weekends and evenings to suit you. If you need the machine back quickly then I can be flexible, for example I can work into the night to get your business computer(s) running again before start of business the next day.
