I enrolled on the Information Management Leadership Programme (IMLP) in July 2000, and I will be completing the programme in August 2002. I have worked as an IT project manager in four different businesses within GE Capital Europe in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Switzerland. I have worked on a range of projects in areas such as e-Business architecture, IT productivity and Project tracking. I have also worked as the Intranet Webmaster for one GE business, managing all aspects of development and maintenance. |

Three summer holidays. I developed distributed Access database systems to store and process part time lecturer’s pay and travel claims, linked to contract and payroll details. I helped with the selection and installation of a scanning system to scan enrolment forms, and produced a Visual Basic tool for importing the data into the MIS database. I developed the college’s Intranet site to allow users to obtain information about courses and enrolments directly from the database using Active Server Pages. |
