... : ever fail, try again and fail better? - Samuel Beckett
The difference between a successful writer and an aspiring writer is often professional training. The best way to
learn to write successfully is to work with a successful writer. Our aim is: write to sell. Our students have sold
articles, short stories, poetry, novels, sci-fi material, children's stories, strip cartoons, to a wide,
ever-increasing range of magazines, newspapers and publishing houses. In addition, we have sold to radio and
television at home and abroad.
Here at the Success Writing Bureau we aim to help you become a marketable writer in a variety of styles, from novels to
screenplays and poetry. We do this by working with you either through a course or on a one-to-one basis via our
appraisal services.

- The Bureau offers tuition to clients in every English-speaking country, and to English-speaking writers
in many other countries throughout:
- Europe
- Africa
- West Indies
- USA
- Canada
- Australia and
- New Zealand
- Many of our newcomers are recommended by highly-satisfied past and present clients. These come from all walks
of life and from all age groups. They have one aim in common - a desire to see their work in print.
- Nurses, secretaries, teachers, housewives, men and women in the Services, police, accountants, doctors, other
professional and non-professional people, including factory and shop workers, have turned to writing as a
rewarding sideline.
- University students, politicians, and ministers of religion use our services, as do Local Authority workers,
trade unionists, local councillors and welfare workers.
- We help our clients to make the most of their talents; they can write when they feel like it. You may have good
ideas and a flair for writing, but without expert guidance you may never be able to put that flair to creative and
profitable use.
