Russel is still coming to terms with Elly's bombshell. He decides to concentrate on Susanna and they start trying for a baby.

Meanwhile Luis and Piers are getting closer, and Piers brings his toothbrush to their latest date...

Camilla tries to cheer Elly up by taking her out on the town. After a few drinks, Camilla lets slip that she sent Susanna a picture of her and Russel. Elly can't believe Camilla would do such a thing and leave in a hurry. She goes to Luis and asks him to warn Russel as she can't do it herself. Luis says he can't do it now, but he'll do it first thing in the morning.

Sadly the following day, Luis passes out and collapses on his kitchen floor. Piers finds him and he's taken to hospital - it's not the first time Luis has passed out, and they want to keep him in for some tests. They've given him some drugs to make him more comfortable. Russel rushes to Luis' side and stays with him until he wakes up.

Elly hears about Luis's accident and comes to the hospital. She passes Susanna in the ward, but Susanna doesn't notice her. Elly tells Russel about the picture (luckily in the rush to get to the hospital Russel and Susanna didn't read their mail) but he decides to stay with Luis saying he's his best friend, and besides it's the right thing to do.

Later, after Luis has woken up, Russel goes home to face the music, but the mail is still on the hall table unopened. Russell finds the photo from Camilla and pockets it before walking into the living room saying he has something to tell Susanna...
