Russel tells Susanna he has been having an affair. He expects her to take it calmly, coolly, reasonably. Instead, she produces a Magnum revolver and shoots him dead…

We see Russel in the back of a taxicab. 'Relax', he tells us, 'wrong genre'. But despite his daydream fantasies of how Susanna will react, Russel is still determined to finally tell the truth. Unfortunately, when he gets home he finds Susanna has enacted an elaborate Hawaiian fantasy, dressing up in a grass skirt, to show her new 'fun' side. The joke falls flat.

Elly tells Camilla that Russel loves her. Camilla is sceptical; Russel is a married man, he'll never leave his wife. 'They never do'.

Russel tries once again to tell Susanna - but before he can, she hands him a letter from his agent, which contains his Golden Chunks royalties. The cheque is for a huge amount; Russel and Susanna celebrate by going mental. Elly is walking past; she sees the scene through the window and walks away sadly…

Luis and Piers are enjoying a Schwarznegger video-fest when Russel turns up to confide in Luis; he leaves, and later Elly turns up, also wanting Luis' advice. So Luis gives it to her: She should leave Russel. Russel loves Susanna; Elly has no right to damage that relationship. And so later, Elly meets Russel in Embankment Gardens; and she tells him the affair is over.
