Churchill Forge Opening Details
The Forge Pool in Winter
Churchill Forge is opened to the public on
selected dates through the summer. The planned open days for 2008 are as
follows:
Easter Monday - 24 March
Sunday April 13
Saturday May 10 & Sunday May 11 (National Mills Weekend)
Sunday June 8
Sunday July 13
Sunday August 10
Saturday September 13 & Sunday September 14 (Civic Trust
Heritage Open Days)
Sunday October 12
On open days, the forge is open from 2pm to 5pm
and a small admission charge is made to contribute towards the restoration and
maintenance of the site.
A range of souvenirs are available at the forge
including technical drawings, postcards and souvenir coffee mugs.

Groups are welcome to visit by arrangement and
members of the trust are also happy to give talks on the history and
