CALCUTTA 

Between 1979 and 1999 I spent 5 months in Calcutta.This site covers what I learned.
My first experience of India was initially one of extreme culture shock in November 1979 but I quickly grew to love this country -or at least certain aspects of it.Many people agree that it is probably the most challenging country to extensively travel around for the low budget traveller.My experiences include both solo travel and travelling with young children.
