A.C.E. Driving School Intensive Courses

At Ace Driving School we also do intensive driving courses, which allow you to take your practical driving test sooner. An Intensive Course will concentrate your training into a few weeks instead of a few months, thus allowing you to get your full driving licence quicker. Intensive Courses also eliminate the weekly lessons that can seem to go on forever.

Before booking an Intensive Driving Course it is best to have passed your theory test, we can then book your Intensive Course and practical driving test at the same time. If you haven't yet passed the theory test, then book some hour-long weekly lessons and get free help until you pass the theory test, then book an Intensive Course, giving you the best of both worlds.

An Intensive Course will last several days depending on the ability, amount of driving already done and level of the new driver. A total beginner will probably need more than the five-day course, (see our special £1000 offer for beginners!) whereas someone who has just failed a test with only minor problems recently, may only need half a day to brush up.

To get an idea of the length of Intensive Course needed a one-hour assessment drive is required, the price of which is just £25 Once the assessment drive has finished, the instructor will advise you on how many days course is required. This usually depends on how much driver training you have already undertaken.

The Intensive Course will start with a 1-hour assessment drive and then build up with a few 2-hour lessons and then if all goes well 3 or 4-hour lessons. Then the training can be done in half a days training at a time, as a full days driving can be very demanding and very draining, especially when you are not use to driving. Each days training consists of eight hours training, half a day being four hours. There will be a break and complimentary coffee, at an appropriate time during each full days training.

An intensive course requires a none refundable deposit of 10% payable at time of booking and does not include the test fee. The remainder of the cost must be made ten working days before the course start date.

The offer even includes the cost for the first of each of the theory and practical driving tests. If you don’t pass first time, you will still continue to get additional lessons without incurring any more lesson fees, all you pay for are any additional tests.
